Cut my hand when I was trying to open a bottle of yoghurt after dinner. =P

Well, it was yet another long day at work today. THE presentation is next week so we have got to get everything cleared by the middle of this week. Besides that, there's the appraisal and confirmation meeting with the boss. I wonder what I am going to say during the meeting......

Just got news that I would have to conduct some briefings to the frontline staff. Another nightmare. I mean, public speaking is one thing but answering questions quickly and accurately on the spot is another. A colleague told me to treat the audience as people with watermelons heads (I think that's hilarious but rather impossible). Now, think of speaking watermelons. Hmm..

Was chatting with my colleague in the meeting room this afternoon during lunch. I was looking out at the sky. I guess, even though sometimes some shitty work and people make it all too overwhelming, I can always take a little bit of time to look at the sky and clouds and feel that there is always a brighter side to life.

I remember when I was younger, I used to stand in my nanny's kitchen and look at the sky. Then I always run out of the house with whoever opened the door, be it ah pek who would water the plants or my nanny who would go down to the void deck or market. One day we walked along the void deck and after we got back from somewhere and we saw rainbows. Stood there staring for quite a while before it disappeared.

I can't remember when is the last time I saw a rainbow. Can you?

Are we too old for rainbows?
