Currently listening to: Forever Love-Color Me Badd
Last night, my cousin and I went to New Asia Bar. When we first went into the place, it sort of reminded me of the bar in "Lost in Translation". After walking around for a while, we managed to get seats where we could get a view of the city. It was lovely. Besides that, it was quite interesting looking at the people around us. People gyrating to the music and the scantily-clad dancers on the scaffolding amidst the colourful lighting and dry ice. It was a little surreal, especially after we got out of the place.
I rested well today.
Today, I read this off Ben's blog: (Ben, hope you don't mind me pasting this, I'll take it out if you say so, yep?)
"Life is the process of finding love. Everyone will need to find four people in their lives.
The first person is you.
The second person is the one you love most.
The third person is the one who loves you most.
And the fourth person is the one you spend the rest of your life with.
In life, you will first meet the one you love most & therein learn what love is all about. Because you know how love feels, you can move on to find the person who loves you most. When you've experienced the feeling of loving others & being loved, you'll know what it is that you need most. & you'll then find the person who's most suitable for you, someone you can spend the rest of your life with.
Often times, however, these three people are not the same person...
The one you love most doesn't love you.
The one who loves you most is never the one you love most.
And the one you spend your life with is never the one you love most or the one who loves you most. He/She is just the person who happens to be at the right place at the right time.
So which person are you in other people's lives?
Who have you found?
And who has found you?"
I was very touched by the words. So, have you found yourself? Have you found the person who loves you most and whom you love most? Or even found the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with? Let's not introduce a religious slant to this. Think of these answers as people in real life. If you have found all, you're very blessed indeed. =)
