Currently listening to: Nothing but the radio on ~ Dave Koz

Ref entry of 15 Mar 04. I saw that Ice had that song on his "What I'm listening to" thing on msn. Heh, now I have it! This super old song! Sure it sounds a bit sleazy and old/retro but it just brings back fond memories of those days in my nanny's old home. You know how some songs just evoke some memories of some people or some phase in your life? I could name a few but I don't feel like recalling some things, not now when I'm having sunday/monday blues.

I ate a lot today. 7 dishes for lunch is no joke. After lunch, we walked around a bit. Didn't manage to catch a movie again this week. At this rate, I'm going to miss watching movie after movie after movie. Anyway, I got a rude shock when I was at the interchange waiting for my bus. Mom called to say that I might have to take my sister's place at my cousin's wedding tonight. No way! I was so full and I could not imagine going to the dinner having to eat an eight-course meal and trying to keep awake from waiting. You know what wedding dinners are like. In the end, I nearly had to go but sis came back in time.

So I spent a quiet evening at home watching tv and rummaging for rubbish to eat(while they had the eight-course meal; no I'm not jealous). Then Teacher rang us and I went down to get this Indian avocado costing $2 and some Indian crackers from her. Haha. I have no idea how to eat the avocado. She mentioned blending it and mixing it with ice-cream? Anyway what I wanted to talk about is not about the avocado but the crackers. Teacher burnt her finger while frying the crackers. She showed me this huge blister on her second finger (maybe about 6 cm x 2 cm) Wah, I told her to see the doc but she didn't want to.

It's Ah Meng's 46th birthday. It's just one interesting crap of the day so I put "Ah Meng is 46 years old!" in my msn nick. I didn't expect this conversation:

Pencil: Who is Ah Meng?
Me: Ah Meng is that Ah Meng in the zoo.
Pencil: You went zoo?
Me: Nopes, it's in the papers. LOL.
Pencil: I very long didn't go zoo.

I think Pencil thought someone I care about is 46 years old, like some friend/relative of mine? Hahaha. =)

I think I should start booking a badminton court soon so that we can go for a badminton session which we've been talking about since I can't remember when.
