MC and tooth extraction

I was just telling someone about not taking MC this year and I got to be on MC today. And I'm not even sick, just sleepy.

It happened yesterday when I went for a dental appointment. Besides the usual cleaning, I wanted to extract this tooth that's useless and out of the way (and in the way). Dr (tall,long-haired and loud) said that he had to take an x-ray first to see if it was safe to take it out. After the x-ray, he said that the roots were long and a bit awkwardly positioned so there were some risks (such as having to go for minor surgery should the tooth break off halfway). We went ahead with it and he gave me two injections of local anasthetic. The pulling out part was a bit scary because he really yanked it rather hard and when I thought it was finally out, he asked the nurse for another pair of forceps. Not sure what I did but he kept telling me to relax. Funniest part was at the end when he said he would be giving me two days MC and I gave a huge "HMMM?" in surprise while biting on to the piece of cotton gauze with one side of my mouth numb.

Anyway the MC came in useful because I felt sleepy the whole of yesterday evening and today. Not sure why. Maybe because of the medicine given.
I have a useless MC for tomorrow and have to go back again next Thursday for a follow-up session. Hope the wound heals by then.
